My name is Jay Kaps. I was born in New Jersey and started keeping reptiles around 11 years old. Over the years I've kept and bred reticulated pythons, Burmese pythons, green tree pythons, carpet pythons, and ball pythons — and ball pythons are where I've made my stand.

I served in the United States Army from 1999 to 2009, deploying to combat four times.

In 2021 I started Green Line Morphs.

I live in northeastern Pennsylvania, work a full-time job, and work as a firearms instructor when the time allows. Green Line Morphs isn't a retail operation. I breed deliberately, in projects — every animal that leaves here is part of a program built on lineage, quality, and integrity.

In 2025 I launched Operation: Deeds, Not Words to support veterans and first responders — the motto comes from one of the units I served with at the 10th Mountain Division, and it still guides how I run this operation today.
